Maximinus I. AE 28. 235-238 AD. Cilicia. (RPC-Online VI 6890). (Sng Levante-S1 147). (Ziegler-291). Anv.: ΑΥΤ Κ Γ Ι ΟΥΗ ΜΑΞΙΜΕΙΝΟΝ. Radiate bust to right, wearing decorated cuirass, seen from front. Rev.: ΦΙΛΑΔΕΛΦΕωΝ ΚΗΤΙΔΟϹ. Veiled goddess (Demeter?) seated on throne, left, holding patera. Ae. 10,68 g. Minor roughness. Extremely rare. RPC VI 6890, cites two known specimens. We found no references in Acsearch or Coinarchives. Almost VF/VF. Est...200,00.
