One of the rarest circulating coins of Venezuela, minted with machinery brought to the Caracas Mint from Mexico under the commission of Pablo Morillo. Censuses by local experts in Venezuela, such as Luis Ponte, estimate fewer than ten coins of this variety exist, including those in the ANS and FNMT collections in Madrid.
