Philip IV (1621-1665). 8 reales. 1660. Lima. V. (Cal-1250). (S-L5). Ag. 26,78 g. "Star of Lima" type. Three-digit date below pillars. Visible the two mintmarks, value and assayer L-8-V flanking the obverse. Full cross with dots on the quadrants. Holed at 4 o'clock and slightly flat in the obverse center. The reverse is off-center but shows a large portion of the outer legend as a result. Deep charcoal toning accentuates the coin's eye apeal. Very rare type only minted during this year. Ex S.P.
