Civil Wars. Forces of Galba in Spain. Denarius. 3 April - 2nd half of June 68 AD. Uncertain Spanish mint. (Ric-I 14). (Abh-R95). Anv.: BONI EVENTVS. Diademed and draped bust of Bonus Eventus to right, wearing braided hair. Rev.: VIRTVS. Virtus standing left, holding Victory on globe in her right hand and parazonium in her left. Ag. 3,23 g. Metal with slight porosity and a scratch on the reverse. We have not found any similar examples auctioned in the last two decades. Extremely rare. VF. Est...1500,00.
