The only specimen known
Charles II (1665-1700). 4 reales. 16.... Sevilla. S. (Cal-Unlisted). (Jarabo-Sanahuja-F77). . 13,62 g. This 4 Reales specimen is extremely rare and essential to close the series of assayer S in this issue. Jarabo-Sanahuja refer to this fleeting assayer, mentioning all the existing values: 1/2, 1, 2 and 8 Reales, except for the 4 Reales denomination, which they suggest may have existed. Characteristics such as neglect and poor workmanship in its minting indicate that they belong to the period 1680/83. This specimen, which is apparently the only known specimen, will undoubtedly arouse the interest and appreciation of the most passionate collectors of pieces from this period. Choice F. Est...800,00.
