First National Bank of Chicago

United States. 100-Troy-Ounce Silver Bar, Serial Number 13192, issued by the prestigious First National Bank of Chicago.
The First National Bank of Chicago was one of the most influential financial institutions in the history of American banking. This silver bar stands out not only for its weight and purity, but also for its undeniable historical and collectible value.
It is preserved in excellent condition, and comes with its original cloth pouch and the original purchase invoice dated 1979, adding exceptional provenance and documentary value.
Founded in 1863, the First National Bank of Chicago played a key role in the city’s reconstruction after the Great Fire of 1871, as well as in financing the railroad and industrial expansion of the American Midwest. Throughout the 20th century, it established itself as one of the leading corporate banks in the United States, with a strong international presence.
In 1995, it merged with NBD Bancorp; in 1998, it became part of Bank One; and in 2004, it was acquired by JPMorgan Chase, one of the largest financial institutions in the world today.
This bar represents not only a solid investment in precious metal, but also a unique piece of American financial heritage. Examples with such well-documented provenance are exceptionally rare
